I am a Malaysian, a former general manager and superintendent of golf clubs, currently a consultant and trainer. Holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science.

As Superintendent:
1997 – 2000 Glenmarie Golf & CC (Voted Best-Maintained Course in Malaysia 1999-2000)
2001 – 2003 Clearwater Sanctuary GR (Voted No. 2 golf course in Malaysia in 2001-2002 and No. 1 in 2003-2004).
2004 – 2007 Kota Permai Golf & CC (Voted No. 1 golf course in Malaysia 2005-2006).

As Manager:
2007 – 2008 Glenmarie Golf & CC.
2009 The Mines Resort and Golf Club.

As Consultant:
Nilai Springs GC, Mountain View Golf Club, The Mines Resort & GC, Bukit Beruntung G & CC, Serendah Golf Links, Royal Palm Springs, Tasik Puteri G&CC, Kinrara GC, Cameron Highlands GC, Darul Aman GC, Kelab Golf Negara Subang, Kelab Rekreasi Tentera Udara, Teluk Intan G&CC, Penang Golf Resort, Penang Golf Club. (Note: not including single/emergency visits or football fields or landscaping and even one classified area; no kidding)

Management; there are three clubs in Malaysia where the membership price was RM100K and above; Glenmarie, TPC KL (formerly KLGCC) and The Mines, I have managed two of them.

Golf club maintenance: I have rehabilitated golf club that has been closed for a year and clubs that were poorly managed or has changed management.I have worked with management that has low budgets, rural golf course.

Staff training; I would like to modestly admit that my experience has allowed me to do training to general workers in golf courses, football fields and municipal councils about grass maintenance and up to club management to a housing developer’s staff.
